Guided Dental Implant Surgery

Guided Dental Implant Surgery Planning software allows us to take the information from an i-CAT scan of a patient's mouth and perform virtual surgery on the computer before taking a patient into the actual surgery. In collaboration with a laboratory, a guide stent is fabricated with the exact dimensions that allow for optimal implant placement. On the day of surgery this guide is used to place the implant precisely where it needs to be. This process is used routinely for optimal planning in highly aesthetic areas.

This technology provides us with a much more accurate depiction of your anatomy, allowing a more predictable outcome. The guided system means you can now replace missing teeth with permanent dental implants easily, quickly and comfortably.
