At Drs. Passero and Feeney, we believe it takes a team approach to effectively diagnose and treat oral disease. We are a staff of professionals, including hygienists, dental assistants and administrative staff. Closely linked to other dental specialties from orthodontics to prosthodontics we interact in a very powerful way to bring the best possible treatment plans and treatment therapies to our patients. In 1993, Dr. Passero helped launch the Northern Virginia Dental Clinic (NVDC), a program that meets the critical need of providing dental health care services to those with limited resources. Funded by a variety of public and private sources, the facility serves over a thousand low-income and uninsured residents each year – totaling over a million dollars of in-kind services given back to the community. The NVDC is staffed by dozens of volunteer dentists and hygienists as well as some part-time staff dentists, all of whom are dedicated to restoring healthy smiles and providing the highest level of care to each patient served. Today, Dr. Passero serves as a Board member and volunteer. The Clinic looks forward to expanding its successful model to other locales.
