Dr. Feeney received his post-Doctoral training in periodontics and implantology at the University of Maryland, College of Dental Surgery in Baltimore. There he met Dr. Passero, who is on the schools faculty. “We realized we had instant synergy.” Dr. Feeney says. “ I knew we’d be a great fit, and we truly enjoy practicing together.”
In his post-Doctoral program, Dr. Feeney was involved with clinical based research in implantology and platelet rich plasma, human growth factors that can improve patients’ healing response. “It’s such an exciting time to be in this field,” he says. “Rapidly advancing technologies are enabling us to serve our patients at unprecedented levels of excellence. I enjoy staying in step with current developments and sharing new knowledge with my patients.”
While in school full time in Baltimore, Dr. Feeney also practiced part-time as a general dentist in Annapolis and completed an 18-month internship in anesthesiology.
